When did you decide to
follow the call to religious
life?
The above is what I have done, but it is not who I am.  

I was blessed with a wonderful family who instilled in me good
values and a strong
faith base.  I think from very early on Jesus was calling me.  You
know, the "whisper".  I think we all hear it but we pretend we didn't
hear or in my instance.....what do I do with hearing the call.  I
couldn't be a minister--I was a girl!  I certainly couldn't be a
Sister--I was Lutheran!  So, life happened.

It wasn't till in my thirties that I became Catholic and in my
forties that I realized that indeed it was possible for me--in fact,
He was calling me--as lowly as I am--He was calling me!

It is the greatest gift-FAITH.  The Catholic faith so rich in the
fullness of truth is who I am.  I am blessed to live it as a Sister.
